Product Designer

Role Overview

As a Product Designer at adaption, you’ll reimagine how people interact with AI. You will bridge design vision and technical implementation, partnering with researchers and engineers to prototype and ship differentiated UI/UX experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead visual design and product direction: rapidly design, refine, and ship interfaces that are functional, differentiated, and impactful.
• Collaborate across disciplines: work closely with researchers and engineers to explore innovative interaction patterns.
• Use experimentation and prototyping: iterate to discover new possibilities for how users engage with product experiences and AI.
• Own end-to-end impact: shape what gets built (not just implement specs), influencing user experience from concept through launch.
• Define future human–AI interaction: invent new interaction paradigms that feel intuitive and natural.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX, UI, and interaction design.
• 4+ years of experience as a product designer.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and motion.
• Experience working across the design–engineering boundary (e.g., prototyping, implementing design systems).
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to clearly communicate complex ideas.
• Excitement to work on frontier AI products and decide how they look and behave.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with high ownership.
