About the role
Role overview
Product Data Analyst Intern (Fall/Spring Internship) at Prismfly. You’ll support the product team by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform product decisions and improve product performance, user experience, and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Analyze platform and experiment data in BigQuery (write queries, validate outputs).
- Develop a strong understanding of how experiments, metrics, and statistical significance are computed.
- Identify data quality and data tracking issues, and verify fixes.
- Sanity-check statistical calculations against expected results.
- Contribute to product/UI design in Figma (feature UI, component library, design system).
- Translate product and data requirements into clear, buildable designs.
- QA new features and the marketing site.
- Document findings and decisions in plain language.
Requirements
- Solid grasp of A/B testing concepts.
- Comfort writing SQL and exploring data in BigQuery.
- Product design ability and working knowledge of Figma.
- Comfort with data and basic statistics.
- Front-end basics (HTML/CSS) to reason about feasibility.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Clear written communication.
Nice to have
- Coursework in statistics or experimental design.
- Experience with design systems or component libraries.
- Shopify or e-commerce familiarity.
- Some additional HTML/CSS experience.
