About the role
Role Overview
Product Associate Director (Group Product Manager) leading product strategy and hands-on execution for an early-stage portfolio of technology solutions addressing complex national security challenges. You will guide product teams building next-generation capabilities across agentic AI, data platforms, and advanced analytics.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute product portfolio strategy, ensuring roadmaps align with emerging customer needs and market opportunities
- Define product vision, strategy, and priorities for enterprise AI orchestration, data capabilities, and mission-driven technologies
- Maintain product roadmaps and backlogs; support empowered product teams through prioritization and decision-making
- Partner with Sales, Growth, Engineering, Design, Customers, and Leadership to understand market dynamics and identify strategic investments
- Translate complex customer challenges into clear product opportunities and actionable strategies
- Coach and mentor product managers and UX professionals on product practices, discovery, prioritization, and execution excellence
- Drive adoption of user-centered product approaches and help establish a strong product operating model
- Communicate product vision, strategy, progress, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders
- Balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement, stepping in to remove blockers and accelerate delivery
Requirements
- Proven product leadership experience with a strong track record building technology products in complex environments
- Experience leading product strategy and managing product portfolios in technology-driven organizations
- Experience building products for government users, especially in environments with complex requirements or constraints
- Background in mission-focused domains such as information operations, intelligence, targeting, defense, or related areas
- AI experience including agentic AI, generative AI, natural language processing, large language models, and/or advanced analytics at scale
- Experience using AI-assisted approaches to accelerate product development and engineering practices
- Experience managing B2B products with significant customer support, services, or consulting components
- Strong understanding of product management methodologies, roadmap development, and user research
- Ability to coach and influence broader organizational product practices

- Experience operating in highly regulated or high-stakes environments with strong stakeholder and executive engagement
