Product Architect

Role Overview

Product Architect for Blend’s home lending product line (full remote). This forward-deployed, client-facing role advises on solution design, owns the technical product relationship, and acts as the dedicated product owner for a contracted custom client build.

Key Missions & Responsibilities

• Advise clients on standard, configurable, and custom options for the product, and translate guidance into a repeatable discovery process.
• Own the technical product relationship from pre-sales through post-implementation.
• Serve as the dedicated product owner for contracted custom client builds.
• Own complex builds end-to-end: gather and iterate requirements, run the backlog, and partner with the product team.

Requirements

• Comfortable working across global time zones and traveling to client sites as needed (travel required).
• Strong fit for a client-facing technical product role (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Technical Product Management, or Implementation Consulting).
• Ability to write requirements engineering can build from without rework.
• Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity; strategic individual contributor helping define direction.
• Strong mix of technical depth and product sense.

Nice-to-Haves

• Mortgage or fintech background strongly preferred.
• Home equity and refinance domain knowledge is a significant advantage.

Works closely with product leadership, engineering, and customer success teams.
