About the role
Role Overview
You will join Chronosphere’s Developer Experience team, focused on improving the experience for end users across an industrial-scale SaaS observability platform. The goal is to build intuitive, fast, reliable frontend experiences that help software engineers diagnose and resolve incidents with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build user experiences that surface critical insights quickly, streamline troubleshooting, and reduce cognitive load during incident response.
- Partner with Product, Design, and engineering teams to translate complex observability data into clear interfaces and workflows.
- Question designs, incorporate user feedback, and take ownership of the quality of what you ship.
- Collaborate with engineers to evolve the architecture powering the UIs and APIs, including TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and NodeJS.
- Contribute to engineering infrastructure and efficiency by helping maintain automated tests, tooling, and deployment infrastructure (with shared accountability across UI-focused engineers).
- Mentor colleagues through direct mentorship and by improving engineering infrastructure for reliable, performant, high-quality experiences.
- Help shape product direction and evolve platform architecture to meet product and scale needs.
Requirements
- Ability to independently own projects from inception through delivery while collaborating with product and UX.
- Experience with observability tools and/or working with large-scale distributed systems to understand customer observability challenges.
- Strong curiosity and motivation to learn deep, complex domains.
