Principal / Senior Product Manager, Local Market & Growth (Latin America)

Role Overview

OKX is expanding across Latin America and is hiring a locally embedded Principal / Senior Product Manager for Local Market & Growth (LATAM). You will own the end-to-end user trading journey for the region, identify LatAm-specific business and product opportunities, and drive product decisions that improve regional trading metrics.

Responsibilities

• Local Market Opportunity & Strategy

  • Identify and prioritize LatAm business/product opportunities (e.g., regional payment rails, local trading behaviors, regulatory nuances, competitive gaps).
  • Build and maintain knowledge of the LatAm crypto/fintech landscape (competitors, user segments, regulatory trends, macro factors).
  • Create go-to-market product strategies for segments such as first-time users, active retail traders, and remittance-driven users.
  • Partner with BD, marketing, and operations to align initiatives with local growth objectives.

• User Trading Journey Ownership (App + Web)

  • Own and optimize the trading journey: discovery & onboarding (markets, chart analysis) → execution (order placement, chart trading, position management) → post-trade review (asset analysis, trading journal).
  • Define and execute the regional roadmap for trading experience improvements, balancing global capabilities with local needs.
  • Use funnel data, user behavior, and feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for conversion, retention, and engagement.
  • Adapt experiences for different trader personas (advanced, speculative, and novice).

• Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work with Design, Engineering, Data, and Marketing to translate insights into shipped features and iterative improvements.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI to improve trading interface usability and layout.
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure efficient implementation and operational feasibility.
  • Drive outcomes with clear metrics and data-driven experimentation/iteration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in consumer-facing products and preferably trading, fintech, or crypto.
• Strong understanding of manual trading workflows across mobile and web and of different trader personas.
• Ability to translate user research and local market insights into actionable product roadmaps.
