Principal React Engineer (Remote, USA)

How You’ll Work

• Team Augmentation: Integrate into a client team and collaborate daily with existing designers and engineers.
• Design & Build: Work on a FullStack product team to build and deliver client products.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver complex frontend applications using React.
• Design scalable frontend architectures and design systems.
• Lead technical decisions and mentor engineering teams.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services via APIs.
• Drive performance optimization and apply modern frontend patterns.
• Contribute to libraries and troubleshoot difficult issues with high attention to detail.
• Own quality practices including frontend testing and accessibility/UX.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD for frontend delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English required.
• 4-year college degree required.
• Extensive experience with React, plus deep JavaScript and TypeScript experience for large-scale apps.
• Strong background in state management and frontend performance optimization.
• Practical experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Solid understanding of frontend testing frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices for frontend delivery.
• Knowledge of accessibility and user experience best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams and large, complex systems.
• Ability to take extreme ownership and work 40 hours/week.

Nice to Have

• AI-enthusiastic workflow (e.g., Cursor/Windsurf/Google Antigravity, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex/Copilot CLI).
• Experience with AI tooling in professional development or personal projects.
