Principal Product Services Engineer, Advanced Services - UK

Role overview

Principal Product Services Engineer (Advanced Services) will help build scalable platform services for Everpure. You will operationalise product capabilities by engineering repeatable service frameworks that support product lifecycle activities and accelerate global customer adoption.

Responsibilities

• Strategy / Service scope

  • Define Platform services scope.
  • Create a Delivery Readiness Framework (integrating with existing workflows), including:
    • Service readiness criteria
    • Operational documentation and enablement assets before global release
  • Establish service standards, quality measures, SLAs, and operational best practices.
  • Ensure product services align with product releases and engineering roadmaps.

• Delivery operational readiness

  • Act as the intersection of Product Engineering and Advanced Services to ensure operational readiness (including Field Testing/QA) prior to release.
  • Partner with Product Engineering to operationalise new platform capabilities.
  • Support technical documentation practices (version control/management).
  • Identify enablement needs (e.g., Partners, CDP, ASP).
  • Perform ongoing software release impact assessment and provide notifications.
  • Own the Services Engineering Lab management strategy/overview.

• Innovation (Continuous Improvement & Automation)

  • Use a Six Sigma-style approach to improve workflows via automation, simplification, and standardisation.
  • Bring an AI innovation mindset to develop service automation, tooling, runbooks, and operational procedures that improve consistency and quality.

• Leadership

  • Lead Platform Services Engineer(s).
  • Provide governance using a program management approach.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Serve as a Technical SME for a broader Implementation Center of Excellence team.

Requirements (What you bring)

• Strong experience in product engineering, infrastructure, or cloud environments.
• Understanding of product lifecycle and operational service design.
• Experience building automation and standardised operational processes.
