About the role
Role overview
As Principal Product Marketing Manager (Settlement) at Snapdocs, you will own the end-to-end product marketing motion across three settlement audiences:
- Enterprise title companies
- Independent closing professionals
- Direct consumers (D2C)
You will set marketing strategy, build structured competitive intelligence, and shape the D2C motion as it evolves—especially in a “greenfield” environment with ambiguity.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute marketing strategy for three distinct client segments in the settlement/closing sector, developing audience-specific value propositions.
- Build a structured competitive intelligence function with a defined cadence, measurable outputs, and regular stakeholder distribution.
- Partner closely with Product and Sales to:
- Prioritize the roadmap
- Feed market and buyer intelligence into execution
- Translate positioning into segment-specific campaign strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B product marketing experience with demonstrated ownership of positioning and messaging for complex, multi-audience segments.
- Data fluency: able to interpret results, challenge assumptions, and adjust strategy when warranted.
- Strong comfort with ambiguity and greenfield problems; high ownership and drive to build from scratch.
- Strategic writing ability: develop distinct voices and value propositions for fundamentally different buyer types.
- Experience running market and competitive intelligence as a structured function (clear cadence and stakeholder outputs).
Nice-to-haves
- Background in proptech, real estate technology, title, mortgage; familiarity with the closing process.
- Experience building consumer or prosumer marketing motions originating from an institutional B2B base; exposure to B2B2C.
- AI-native working style: using AI for research synthesis, drafting, competitive analysis, and workflow automation, with clear guidance on where human judgment matters.
- Familiarity with community-led or product-led growth mechanics.
