Principal Product Manager

Role Overview

Principal Product Manager at WebPT. You will define and execute cross-organization product strategy for high-impact initiatives, aligning with business goals, market needs, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product strategy/roadmap for top-level initiatives; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept to launch and ongoing iteration.
• Build external partnerships that accelerate the WebPT platform ecosystem (initiation through post-agreement maintenance).
• Apply deep understanding of healthcare workflows to guide product development for internal and external customers.
• Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success; align priorities in a matrixed environment.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, differentiation opportunities, and areas for growth.
• Create data-driven business cases for executive leadership with clear success metrics and fiscal grounding.
• Communicate product vision and strategy to executives, stakeholders, and teams.
• Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement using best practices in product management.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a senior role.
• Proven success driving product strategy and execution in healthcare technology.
• Strong knowledge of EMR systems, healthcare interoperability, APIs, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable product requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset; use data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to organize and launch cross-enterprise workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with healthcare data exchange standards: HL7, FHIR, EDI.
• Familiarity with regulatory/compliance requirements: CMS, ONC, HIPAA.
• Experience with AI-driven technologies.
• Hands-on experience with ecosystem partnerships.
