Principal Product Manager (Networks)

Role Overview

Join Skylo as a Principal Product Manager (Networks). You will define the commercial future of Skylo’s network by identifying market opportunities, translating technical capabilities into products, and driving execution from concept to commercial pilot.

Key Responsibilities

• Hunt for new market opportunities that Skylo’s network technology can unlock and drive initiatives from concept through commercial pilot.
• Define the long-term network architectural path, evaluating strategic trade-offs and shaping unique value propositions.
• Translate commercial objectives into engineering problems, defining success criteria for new services and moving beyond connectivity to deliver an end-to-end product experience.
• Validate R&D concepts with customers on a continuous basis.
• Define and use KPIs for network services to shape next-generation product requirements.

Requirements

• 15+ years of related experience across product management, wireless systems engineering, and telco strategy (or 12+ years with a Master’s degree).
• Expert-level knowledge of the M(V)NO end-to-end stack, including roaming interfaces and 3GPP.
• Strong understanding of NTN and D2D, with the ability to apply this knowledge to strategic product definition.
• Proven track record transforming technical capabilities (e.g., telco stacks) into sellable products.
• Ability to explain why features matter to customers (not only how they work).
• Experience making high-stakes architectural bets, including articulating trade-offs between network topologies and their impact on end-user experience.
