Principal Product Manager, LogIn

Role Overview

As the Principal Product Manager for Login at Auth0 (Okta), you will own the “front door” experience for hundreds of millions of users. You will define the future of hosted login by shaping secure-by-design authentication flows that balance low-friction UX with high-quality, highly secure outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Direct the evolution of Universal Login and supporting capabilities to achieve measurable business outcomes.
• Translate strategic direction into actionable requirements and user stories.
• Lead cross-functional execution by partnering with product, engineering, design, executive leadership, customers, and go-to-market teams.
• Architect long-term plans and define the vision for the future of Login (not just execute roadmaps).
• Negotiate scope to maintain momentum, balancing technical innovation with customer requests.
• Ensure exceptional quality standards while delivering rapid, incremental customer value aligned with a north star vision.

Requirements (Must Have)

• Developer awareness/experience: primary personas are developers; ability to understand developer needs, especially as capabilities are exposed via Actions (experience with Node.js is a huge plus).
• Familiarity with Identity, Login, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) patterns, products, and concepts.
• Leadership qualities: initiative, discretion, calm under stress, and ability to represent work across the organization.
• Strong desire to learn: ability to invest time to understand MFA/authentication dependencies and interactivity across the product from both customer and internal perspectives.

Nice To Have

• Experience implementing CIC / Auth0.
• Prior experience in identity, security, or adjacent industries.
