About the role

Role Overview

Principal Product Manager for Identity and Access Management (IAM) within Chronosphere (a Palo Alto Networks company). You’ll build enterprise-grade IAM capabilities, including integrations and workflows, bridging customers and engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct primary research by interviewing end-users and buyers to understand enterprise IAM needs.
  • Partner with engineers and technical stakeholders to scope and deliver integrated IAM products and workflows.
  • Define and track stability and reliability requirements for enterprise-grade performance.
  • Set KPIs to measure customer value and impact.
  • Build comprehensive roadmaps and delivery plans to achieve business and customer outcomes.
  • Communicate priorities/roadmap and align the team around them.
  • Manage the backlog, groom stories, and break down tasks.
  • Ensure cohesive features and workflows across the platform by partnering across teams.
  • Coordinate with product marketing on positioning and messaging.

What You Will Achieve

  • First 30 days: deep dive into market/user base and in-flight projects; participate in customer meetings and end-user interviews; engage with sprint ceremonies; take on a project as product owner.
  • Within 3 months: act as product owner from the beginning of new projects; lead research and set KPIs; make informed decisions based on stakeholder input.

Required / Must-Have

  • Comfort working on a deeply technical product for a deeply technical audience.
  • Ability to operate as a technical product authority for customers and the feature set.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience delivering enterprise-grade reliability/stability improvements.
  • Strong integration and workflow delivery background for IAM use cases.
