Principal Product Manager - Growth, Quora (Remote)

Role Overview

Principal Product Manager for Growth on Quora’s core product, responsible for driving user growth across the funnel. You’ll lead initiatives focused on top-of-funnel acquisition, activation, and early retention across web and mobile, partnering with product leadership and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end user growth strategy, with emphasis on acquisition, activation, and early retention (web + mobile).
• Drive SEO-led growth for the web product by partnering with engineering, content, and data to improve discoverability, indexing, and organic traffic.
• Navigate ambiguity and cross-functional interdependencies in a fast-paced environment to ensure product success.
• Work closely with engineering, design, data science, and product operations to define, build, iterate, and scale growth experiences.
• Define objectives, metrics, and guardrails to guide prioritization and measure success.
• Run structured experimentation across the funnel using both quantitative and qualitative insights to inform roadmap and strategy.
• Identify and unlock new growth levers, including referrals, lifecycle, and platform-specific opportunities to expand and diversify the channel mix.

Requirements

• Availability for meetings during Quora coordination hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–3pm Pacific Time).
• 6+ years combined experience in Product Management.
• Proven experience driving user growth on a consumer product with measurable impact on acquisition, activation, and/or retention.
• Strong communication skills and intuition for messaging across teams, company stakeholders, and users.
• Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to make decisions and scale via experimentation.
