About the role

Role Overview

Achieve is hiring a Principal Product Manager to spearhead product strategy and technical execution for its newly created Third-Party Originations (TPO) channel. This is a founding product role responsible for building the digital infrastructure that enables brokers and correspondents to originate Achieve HELOCs and future lending products.

Responsibilities

TPO Strategy & Roadmap
- Partner with the GM of TPO to develop and execute a multi-year product vision.
- Define how wholesale and correspondent originators are onboarded and how Achieve wins in a competitive intermediary landscape.
Platform Development
- Lead development of the TPO lending ecosystem.
- Deliver seamless partner experiences and API integrations connecting Achieve internal systems with external broker/correspondent tech stacks.
TPO Broker Portal
- Drive design and launch of a high-conversion self-service broker portal.
- Lead sprint cycles for a frictionless journey while aligning with Retail HELOC product strategy and competitive TPO realities.
Automated Decisioning & Integration
- Collaborate with Lead Qualification and Decisioning teams to integrate real-time automated underwriting and risk-appropriate pricing into the TPO workflow.
- Maximize conversion and speed-to-fund.
Channel Growth & Optimization
- Own channel metrics including partner onboarding speed, pull-through rates, and loan origination volume.
- Identify friction in the broker journey and iterate rapidly.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as the central hub across Engineering, Capital Markets, Sales, Underwriting & Ops, Risk, and Compliance.
- Translate mortgage industry requirements into scalable technical specifications.
External Partnerships
- Build relationships with LOS/POS and other third-party technology collaborators to ensure Achieve products are prioritized and integrated.

Requirements

10+ years of Product Management experience.
Proven track record in Mortgage TPO, Fintech, or Lending platforms.
Experience building and scaling complex B2B/partner-facing applications.
Deep domain knowledge of TPO, including wholesale vs. correspondent nuances and mortgage origination workflows.
Technical experience with API-first product development, mortgage LOS integrations, and automated decisioning/rules engines.

Nice to Have

Strong architectural instincts and comfort leading technical discussions (implied by the role’s “architectural and product visionary” scope).
