Principal Product Designer (Real Estate)

Role overview

Join OLX Group as a Principal Product Designer (Real Estate). You will lead the transformation of the Real Estate vertical by elevating design standards and ensuring a cohesive, high-quality end-to-end user experience across all touchpoints and platforms.

Key missions

• Lead the cross-platform Real Estate experience, aligning brand, product, and design.
• Raise the quality bar across the Real Estate vertical, from interaction patterns to system architecture.
• Evolve design systems and patterns into structured, machine-readable formats to support AI-assisted creation and long-term scalability.

Responsibilities

• Define and elevate UX & interaction design and visual design standards.
• Establish guidelines, governance models, and standards that teams actually adopt.
• Reduce fragmentation and increase consistency across multiple teams.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and business stakeholders to deliver coherent, impactful experiences.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and AI researchers on interaction models, edge cases, error states, and confidence thresholds.
• Mentor and grow designers, helping them deliver high-quality work and progress in their careers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience, operating at Staff/Principal level.
• Strong expertise in UX & interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking.
• Proven ability to ship high-quality, complex digital products.
• Deep understanding of how design systems become structured data, tokenized systems, and machine-readable patterns.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, create clarity quickly, and balance user needs with business goals.
• Comfort with technical AI concepts and AI-driven product experiences.
• Experience with AI/ML interaction patterns including:
  • Prompt design
  • Conversational UX
  • Agentic workflows
  • Human-in-the-loop patterns
  • Progressive disclosure
  • Trust calibration

Nice to have

• Active use of AI tools in your workflow (prototyping, research synthesis, design exploration, or code-assisted design).
