Principal Product Designer

Role: Principal Product Designer

Lead the delivery of outstanding user experiences across Praxent’s diverse portfolio of projects.

What you’ll do

• Craft experience visions and shape/refine the design scope with clients.
• Champion design and build alignment by fostering compromise to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Drive innovative solutions by reframing projects to meet business objectives and user needs.
• Lead design engagements: shape, estimate, propose, and ensure project success.
• Lead UX/UI delivery through workshops and by creating UX artifacts.
• Support design systems: establish style and UI systems; maintain high-quality execution.
• Collaborate with users: prepare for and meet with end-users; guide teams through challenges.
• Mentor and build talent, improving team cohesion and delivering feedback to colleagues.
• Contribute across discovery and analysis, user research, information architecture, interaction design, product design, and occasional brand/visual design.

Define success

• Deliver high-impact UX/UI with strong rationale.
• Justify design decisions with research, best practices, and evidence.
• Create compelling case studies that demonstrate client value and product impact.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design.
• Specialization in UX, UI, and User Research.
• Knowledge of front-end development, visual design/branding, and design systems.
• Demonstrated experience designing digital products end-to-end or contributing significantly.
• 1+ year(s) of design leadership.
• Ability to define, inspire, and drive an experience vision across multiple projects.
• Strong preference for collaboration across disciplines; willingness to join touchpoint/sales meetings.
