Principal Product Designer

Role Overview

Principal Product Designer for a client in the Consumer Technology space. You will lead design work at the intersection of data and AI-enabled capabilities, shaping scalable technology delivery and multi-product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the design vision for a company’s multi-product ecosystem
• Design AI-powered experiences that enhance customer judgment (without replacing it)
• Lead high-impact product areas from strategic framing through execution
• Set high standards for interaction design, systems thinking, and visual quality
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions
• Mentor designers and improve the critique process to elevate design quality

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product design experience leading complex initiatives from vision through launch at scale
• Strong portfolio demonstrating Principal-level craft, product judgment, and customer empathy
• Proven ability to influence and align senior cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
• Collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring and raising design standards
• Experience designing cohesive end-to-end experiences across multiple products and platforms

Location & Compensation

• Remote (US-based candidates only); no visa sponsorship
• Compensation: $235,600 – $318,800 annually
