Principal Product Designer, Devices

Role Overview

Life360 is hiring a Principal Product Designer (Devices) to lead product design for connected hardware devices (including Tile, Pet GPS, and future connected devices). You’ll be a hands-on design leader shaping the product design vision and delivering end-to-end design that connects physical devices with the Life360 app to create more valuable everyday experiences for families.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design for connected devices across the devices portfolio (Tile, Pet GPS, and other hardware products)
• Translate insights and product strategy into strong, high-craft design execution
• Drive end-to-end design across the full lifecycle—from device setup to daily tracking experiences
• Partner closely with teams and stakeholders to deliver design at scale with a zero-to-one mindset

Requirements

• Strong ability to function as a transformative design leader delivering impact through what you create
• Excellent collaboration and partnership skills
• Experience driving product design vision and execution for complex, customer-facing products (including cross-device/app experiences)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing for connected hardware ecosystems or physical-device + mobile app workflows
• Demonstrated ability to take ideas from 0 → 1 and scale them to global impact
