Role Overview

Principal Frontend Software Engineer, Discovery UX at Roblox. You’ll design and deliver high-performance features that shape the discovery journey from landing on Roblox through joining an experience, across high-traffic surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features that define the discovery experience for millions of users.
• Architect universal, high-performance solutions across multiple platforms and devices.
• Influence client-server orchestration and dynamic code deployment/rendering across the Roblox ecosystem.
• Drive UX improvements using rigorous A/B testing and deep analysis of experiment results.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure coherent, scalable user experiences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 8+ years with web or app technologies, including React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience building and launching complex, consumer-facing features.

Nice to Have

• Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, or Statistics.
