Role Overview

Principal Frontend Engineer for a growing cybersecurity SaaS platform. You will own the frontend architecture and drive the UI experience as the product scales, partnering with product and design to deliver polished user experiences.

Responsibilities

Own frontend architecture and overall UI/UX experience for the SaaS platform
Set technical direction across React and TypeScript applications
Build and ship features end-to-end with a strong product and UX mindset
Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to turn concepts into usable experiences
Improve scalability, performance, and maintainability of the frontend codebase
Apply lightweight best practices, tooling, and frontend patterns without over-engineering
Identify and address technical debt with the highest impact
Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration
Help shape engineering culture and frontend standards as the team grows

Requirements

Strong experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript
Proven background owning frontend systems in startups or fast-growth environments
Product-minded approach with deep concern for UX and usability
Ability to operate effectively under ambiguity and move quickly with imperfect information
Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and state management tradeoffs
Experience collaborating with design and backend teams in lean environments
Leads through hands-on execution, technical judgment, and mentorship
