The role centers on build and release automation, scalable delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code, packaging and deployment, observability, and integrating development workflows with IT, CloudOps, and security toolchains.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CI/CD architecture design and implementation for platform-based software development across R&D.
  • Define and continuously improve scalable build, release, packaging, and deployment automation for Windows, Linux, and AWS-based systems.
  • Partner with software engineers to create efficient, maintainable build systems for C/C++, C#, and Python.
  • Implement infrastructure and environment automation using Terraform and AWS services.
  • Drive standardization and automation across configuration management, package management, artifact management, and delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with IT, CloudOps, and security teams to integrate development workflows into corporate infrastructure and security toolchains.
  • Modernize and optimize Jenkins-based CI/CD, moving toward a target AWS-based delivery architecture.
  • Implement/improve monitoring, metrics, alerting, and automated engineering reporting for build/test/release/deployment.
  • Design and maintain software packaging and installation solutions (Windows installers, Linux packages, deployable system images).
  • Support third-party software lifecycle management (license tracking, dependency upgrades, version planning, integration into controlled build environments).
  • Enable secure CI/CD automation for SAST, SCA, DAST, artifact scanning, and related controls.
  • Contribute to long-term DevOps operating model, release engineering practices, and delivery governance.

Requirements

  • MS in STEM or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years experience in DevOps/build-and-release/CI-CD/infrastructure automation/software delivery engineering.
  • Proven experience designing/implementing CI/CD architectures for complex multi-language software environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Jenkins.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services relevant to CI/CD (notably S3 and CodeArtifact).
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD, build orchestration, release engineering, artifact lifecycle, traceability, and deployment strategies.
  • Expert-level experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
  • Strong experience with Git and GitHub-based workflows.
  • Strong build/packaging experience for C/C++, C#, Python (e.g., MSBuild, CMake, make, pip/poetry).
  • Proven experience with Windows installers, Linux packaging, and deployment automation.
  • Strong scripting/automation skills in Python and PowerShell (or similar).

Nice-to-haves

  • Not explicitly stated beyond the security automation and modernization focus.
