Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end market expansion project plan, including milestones, budgets, resourcing, and dependencies, and keep all workstreams on track.
- Drive product compliance for the new market (e.g., product safety standards, certifications, labeling, and technical requirements for furniture) with internal quality experts and external certification bodies.
- Define and own the Westwing Collection portfolio for the new market, selecting and adapting assortment based on local demand, pricing, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with quality and product teams to progress certifications, testing, and technical documentation on time.
- Maintain a detailed product compliance and portfolio readiness checklist, proactively closing gaps ahead of go-live.

- Build reusable project governance (timelines, milestones, decision points) for future market expansions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in project management, business development, or market expansion (ideally in international retail or e-commerce).
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder projects with firm timelines and product compliance needs.
- Experience defining or adapting product assortments/portfolios for new markets or customer segments.
- Strong stakeholder management, comfortable working with quality/product teams and external certification bodies.
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, process-driven approach.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
Work Location / Policy
- Permanent role based in Munich.
- Hybrid setup with 3 office days per week.
