About the role

Role Overview

Join ARC’TERYX’s ARC’One manufacturing facility in New Westminster (Queensborough area) as a Press Machine Operator. After an initial 3 months of training, you’ll be assigned to a production line and work on pressing operations for technical gear.

Responsibilities

  • Follow company apparel construction procedures and model specifications, under guidance from a Production Supervisor and/or Team Leaders.
  • Participate in manufacturing of key products (e.g., Alpha SV jacket, outdoor clothing, Veilance products, harnesses, packs).
  • Ensure quality first: review, troubleshoot, and repair quality control issues with the Quality Control Inspector and your team.
  • Drive continuous improvement ("Evolve is our DNA"): identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and processes.
  • Support cross-learning across production lines as needed.
  • Work toward mastery of pressing operations and progression through skill levels.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced work environment (e.g., manufacturing, food services, hospitality).
  • Comfortable with labor-intensive, hands-on work (standing most of the day, repetitive machine tasks).
  • Excellent dexterity.
  • Strong adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent feedback.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Capacity to provide feedback and propose ideas (“think out of the box”).

  • Willingness to grow through learning and development, with the opportunity to move into other internal teams (Warranty, Sample, Quality, Training) or future team leadership.

Location & Employment Details

  • Full-time permanent, Monday–Friday.
  • On-site in New Westminster (Queensborough area).
  • No relocation, no visa support, and not hired remote.
