About the role

Role: Presentation Designer SME

TasteMakers is seeking an experienced Presentation Designer SME to design, brief, and provide expert creative direction for presentations and related visual storytelling deliverables.

Responsibilities

Draft structured creative/design briefs and translate brand/identity/aesthetic boundaries into concrete visual direction.
Ideate and develop presentation concepts into deliverables (not just “build decks,” but articulate why creative choices resonate).
Provide design feedback and creative direction across iterations, including running design reviews.
Critique and instruct creative models/design outputs using design principles that are specific, grounded, and actionable.
Support deck construction strategy: make content digestible and define the rationale behind structure and visual decisions.
Shape how brand/identity/design systems signal within presentations.

Requirements

5+ years of professional presentation design experience.
Professional training/degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Product/UI UX, BFA, or similar.
Mastery of presentation design craft and tools such as Prezi, PPTX/PowerPoint, Keynote, and/or Articulate.
Strong skills in communications design, including infographics, interactive/motion, eLearning, or similar.
Proven experience creating high-level structured design briefs.
Experience giving design feedback in professional settings with a clear, structured approach.
Ability to work effectively with teams of presentation design experts across consulting, private equity, corporate, agency, startup, and VC environments.

Nice to Have

Experience working closely with design systems and creative tooling.
Experience with AI evaluation or AI-adjacent visual generation/interaction design projects.
