Role overview

Vehicle Prep Agent (Preparador de Vehículos Hatillo) Clean, inspect, and prepare rental vehicles both inside and out, ensuring they are safe, ready, and compliant with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect the vehicle interior according to the Full Clean Pledge standards.
• Vacuum/prepare the interior per Full Clean Pledge standards.
• Wash, clean, and dry the exterior; handle vehicles of different sizes (cars, vans, trucks).
• Perform vehicle checks:
  • Verify fuel level and warning lights
  • Inspect the windshield for damage
  • Restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
  • Check registration is current and matches the license plate
  • Check fluids, tire condition, tire pressure, and tread depth
  • Inspect exterior for damage
• Supply fuel and prepare vehicles for next customers.
• Inspect for safety issues; report warning lights and/or damage (windshield/tires/vehicle) and remove from prep flow if needed.
• Keep the work area clean and organized; report any unsafe conditions.
• Use appropriate PPE and ensure cleaning/detailing/laundry/disinfection supplies are available.
• Assist customers when needed, including transporting clients to/from branches.
• Support site appearance and daily cleaning (desks/counters/phones/floors/trash/bathrooms/vacuuming/sweeping the lot, etc.).

Additional responsibilities

• Improve performance through self-evaluation, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (not expired) in Puerto Rico.
• Driving record requirements:
  • No more than 2 violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years
  • No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to work minimum 40 hours, including weekends.

Nice to haves

• Experience in cleaning/detailing or vehicle preparation (implied by duties).
