Leveraging Data, AI, and real-time decision-making we turn energy complexity into growth opportunities for our partners. </p> <p>By combining predictive algorithms with human-centred design, Kaluza makes clean energy dependable and affordable.</p> <p>With teams across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, and a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan, we power leading companies including OVO, AGL and ENGIE, as well as innovators like Volvo and Volkswagen.</p> <p><strong><br>What will I be doing?</strong></p> <p>As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you’ll sit at the intersection of technology and commercial strategy, shaping how prospective clients understand, adopt, and succeed with the Kaluza platform.</p> <p>Working closely with Pre-Sales Consultants, you’ll lead the technical aspects of sales engagements — from running deep-dive sessions on architecture and data models, through solution design, to handing off to implementation teams during the contracting phase. Your primary focus will be designing each client’s “to-be” architecture and defining integration patterns, ensuring solutions meet business requirements while making the best use of Kaluza’s current and planned capabilities.</p> <p>No two engagements are the same. You may support early-stage prototypes, present at client sites, or advise our Product Architecture team on emerging market needs and common integration patterns. This is a varied, high-impact role that will stretch your technical expertise, client management skills, and platform knowledge in equal measure.</p> <p><strong><br>Your key responsibilities will include: </strong></p> <p><strong>Discovery &amp; Solution Design:</strong> </p> <ul> <li data-section-id="11ttzmp" data-start="1586" data-end="1671">Lead discovery workshops to understand current and target technical architectures</li> <li data-section-id="1qfz7h2" data-start="1672" data-end="1792">Translate complex requirements into solution designs that maximise client value and enable successful implementation</li> <li data-section-id="15y1l3g" data-start="1793" data-end="1927">Develop a deep understanding of each client’s technical landscape and transformation goals to design optimal “to-be” architectures</li> <li data-section-id="x0s8gf" data-start="1928" data-end="2002">Estimate work packages to set implementation programmes up for success</li> </ul> <p><strong>Tender &amp; Proposal Excellence:</strong> </p> <ul> <li data-section-id="1g9mo3i" data-start="2039" data-end="2173">Collaborate with product and technology teams to evolve base solution architectures and deliver compelling technical presentations</li> <li data-section-id="eibd5l" data-start="2174" data-end="2250">Provide key technical input into tender responses and customer proposals</li> <li data-section-id="10yf5zu" data-start="2251" data-end="2336">Partner with Pre-Sales Engineering to shape and design proof-of-concept exercises</li> <li data-section-id="1udgkjl" data-start="2337" data-end="2409">Travel to client sites across the UK, Europe, and beyond as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Product Advocacy:</strong> </p> <ul> <li data-section-id="pbz02c" data-start="2434" data-end="2558">Act as a bridge between market demand and Kaluza’s engineering teams, ensuring client needs are reflected in the roadmap</li> <li data-section-id="mr885f" data-start="2559" data-end="2650">Ensure proposed solutions align with core platform capabilities and strategic direction</li> </ul> <p><strong>Measurable Outcomes:</strong> </p> <ul> <li data-section-id="12263r8" data-start="2678" data-end="2769">Advise clients on achieving measurable business outcomes through a data-driven approach</li> <li data-section-id="1hep75n" data-start="2770" data-end="2852">Support commercial conversations by helping quantify the value of the platform</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>About You</strong></p> <p>You’re a technologist with a strong focus on business outcomes who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’re comfortable running deep technical sessions with architects while also articulating a clear strategic vision to C-suite stakeholders.</p> <p>Ideally you'll have/be: </p> <ul> <li data-section-id="1bmvvqh" data-start="3162" data-end="3270"><strong data-start="3164" data-end="3195">Enterprise SaaS Experience:</strong> Proven experience delivering complex enterprise software implementations</li> <li data-section-id="1p9igwo" data-start="3271" data-end="3401"><strong data-start="3273" data-end="3302">Exceptional Communicator:</strong> Able to distil complex concepts into clear, persuasive messages for a wide range of stakeholders</li> <li data-section-id="1rej354" data-start="3402" data-end="3620"><strong data-start="3404" data-end="3429">Technical Experience:</strong> Experience building and architecting systems, including some of: <ul data-start="3499" data-end="3620"> <li data-section-id="1via8wh" data-start="3499" data-end="3532">Architecting solutions on AWS</li> <li data-section-id="r7o4vg" data-start="3535" data-end="3568">Finance and billing platforms</li> <li data-section-id="13x97kl" data-start="3571" data-end="3620">API technologies such as GraphQL
