Pre-Sales Data and AI Architect (Solution Engineering)

Role Overview

Pre-Sales Data and AI Architect (Solution Engineering) at Salesforce (Full remote). You will design end-to-end technical architectures integrating Salesforce D360 into complex enterprise systems, ensuring production readiness and influencing architectural patterns and roadmap decisions.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architectures integrating Salesforce D360 with enterprise systems.
• Own the full technical architecture lifecycle: from deep technical discovery through architecture validation and production readiness.
• Collaborate with Salesforce product and engineering teams to influence the roadmap.
• Define and validate architectural patterns for enterprise data, analytics, and AI solutions.

Requirements

• Strong technical fluency with Salesforce platform architecture, including D360 and core Salesforce services.
• Experience designing scalable, secure data/analytics/AI architectures using D360 as an activation layer across Salesforce Clouds.
• Data engineering capabilities including batch, real-time, and hybrid ingestion patterns (including CDC/streaming concepts).
• Data quality, lineage, governance, and trust frameworks.
• Data modeling, identity resolution, entity relationships, and graph-based relationships/data graph design for D360.
• Hands-on proficiency with Python/R and data/analytics workflows:
  • DataFrames and pandas
  • Jupyter
  • Data wrangling and feature preparation
• Analytics/BI tooling experience: Tableau, Looker, and/or Power BI.
• Experience integrating complex, distributed enterprise data ecosystems with activation platforms like D360.
• Ability to guide architectural conversations with senior technical stakeholders and communicate clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
• Applied machine learning concepts and AI-readiness architecture on top of D360.
• Cloud data platform experience: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and/or Redshift.
• Salesforce Admin / Advanced Admin-level proficiency.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering data, analytics, and AI architectures in enterprise environments.

Education

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent (advanced degree preferred).

Nice-to-Haves

• Pre-sales or post-sales technical architecture experience (solution engineering / technical architecture roles).
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
