About the role
Role Overview
Leidos Health and Services Sector is seeking a Power Platform Developer (Model-driven Apps) to support a federal healthcare program. You will build and maintain model-driven Power Platform solutions and work closely with enterprise architecture, stakeholders, and business analysts within an Agile/Scrum delivery cycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop model-driven Power Apps for client-facing experiences.
- Build Power Apps Portals / Power Pages solutions using PowerApps Portal.
- Maintain the application baseline across Dev / Stage / Prod environments.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture on process modeling and data validation processes.
- Capture and translate data requirements from system stakeholders for each process model.
- Ensure application process flows remain in sync with business processes.
- Support Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist the Business Analyst with technical evaluation and requirements.
- Provide status briefings and product demonstrations to customers.
- Convert customer needs into functional requirements (User Stories / Backlog Items) and support planning for future releases.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree.
- Expert in Microsoft Power Platform (model-driven apps) in an Azure environment, including:
- Model-driven Apps
- Power BI
- Power Automate
- Power Pages/Portals
- Portal Management (MDA)
- Power Apps Pipeline
- Development experience with TypeScript, React, or Angular.
- Expert in Power BI reporting (reports, charts, graphs).
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools, especially Jira.
- Strong experience transforming data architecture using Dataverse.
- Experience building and maintaining data tables in Dataverse.
- Development experience with C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Liquid, and FetchXML.
- Experience working in an Agile framework.
- Expert in Power Apps Pipeline for moving apps between tiers.
- Expert in large-scale data management and data modeling.
- Ability to lead and collaborate in a fast-paced environment, provide demos/status, and work with limited oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and implementing data models in A365.
- Experience building SharePoint customized apps using Power Apps.
- Experience designing and developing data exchanges per System Interface Agreements.
- Experience developing modern pages on SharePoint Online.
- AI-assisted software development experience.
Location & Eligibility
- Preference for candidates in the Washington D.C./MD/VA area.
- Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder, currently located in the United States for the past three consecutive years, and able to obtain a Level 4 Public Trust Clearance.
