About the role

Role Overview

Power Platform Developer II will partner with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional Power Platform applications. The role also includes providing technical guidance to end-users to enable self-service capabilities, with federal consulting requirements such as adherence to safeguarding/compliance for CUI.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions using:
    • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
    • Power Automate
    • Dataverse
    • Plugins
  • Build business rules and automation logic for data workflows across Power Platform.
  • Integrate solutions with REST APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend developers, UX designers, testers).
  • Maintain and enhance applications through iterative sprints and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure accessibility, performance, and security compliance.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups.
  • Research, diagnose, and document issues and resolution steps.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Dynamics 365 Power Platform experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or 3 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile SDLC, user story development, and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust/Suitability Determination (U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship not available).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications:
    • Power Platform Developer Associate
    • Azure Developer Associate
  • Power BI experience.
  • Experience with user-centered design and accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG).
  • Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PCF Controls.
  • SharePoint experience.

Location / Travel

  • Remote position with occasional travel required (<10%) for project needs, client meetings, and training.
