About the role
Role Overview
Power Platform Developer II at Aretum. You will translate client requirements into functional Power Platform applications, while guiding end-users toward self-service capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using:
- Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
- Power Automate
- Dataverse
- Plugins
- Build business rules and automation logic to support Power Platform data workflows
- Integrate solutions with REST APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend developers, UX designers, testers)
- Maintain and improve applications through iterative sprints and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure accessibility, performance, and security compliance
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups
- Research, diagnose, and document errors, issues, and resolutions
Requirements
- 4+ years of Dynamics 365 / Power Platform experience (Dataverse and Model-Driven Apps)
- Bachelor’s degree (or 3 additional years experience in lieu of a degree)
- Proficiency in C#/.NET (for Plugins) and JavaScript
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC, user story development, and DevOps practices
- Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust / Suitability determination (federal contract) and handle CUI as required
- U.S. citizenship / authorization; sponsorship not available
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- Power Platform Developer Associate
- Azure Developer Associate
- Power BI experience
- Experience with user-centered design and accessibility (Section 508, WCAG)
- Experience with React, TypeScript, and PCF Controls
- Experience with SharePoint
Travel / Location
- Remote role with occasional travel (<10%) for project needs, client meetings, team events, or training.
