About the role
Role Overview
Avanciers LLC is hiring an experienced PLM Test Automation Engineer to join a remote team. You will build and maintain automation testing for UI (Playwright) and APIs (REST), with hands-on experience in PLM systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks
- Implement UI automation using Playwright
- Develop and run API automation tests for REST services
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts
- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify, log, and track defects using standard tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, QA, BA, Product Owners)
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables
Required Skills
- 5+ years of test automation experience, preferably in the PLM domain
- Strong hands-on automation experience with Playwright
- Solid experience in REST API testing
- Programming skills in Java and JavaScript
- Experience with TestNG
- Hands-on experience with at least one PLM tool: Teamcenter, Windchill, Agile PLM, or 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience in test design, test planning, and defect management
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
Nice to Have
- Deeper familiarity with multiple PLM tools and broader integration scenarios within PLM workflows
