Role Overview

PLM Test Automation Engineer (Remote, US)

You will work with a Fortune 500 client to deliver UI and API test automation for PLM-related applications, operating in the PST time zone.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable PLM test automation frameworks
Implement and run UI and API automation
Create and maintain test cases through test planning and design
Validate REST API functionality and automate API testing
Track and manage defects during the testing lifecycle
Collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum development processes
Work as a self-starter with minimal guidance

Requirements

5+ years of experience in PLM test automation
Hands-on experience with Playwright for automation
Strong experience testing REST APIs
Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript
Experience with TestNG
Experience with Teamcenter or other PLM tools such as:
- Agile
- Windchill
- 3DExp
- Enovia
Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
Familiarity with test case design, test planning, and defect tracking
Strong communication skills

Nice-to-haves

Deep familiarity with multiple PLM tool ecosystems
Experience designing automation frameworks that scale across teams/projects
