Role Overview

PLM Consultant / Teamcenter Developer (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize PLM solutions using Siemens Teamcenter Unified Architecture and ITK (Integrated Toolkit).
• Work with Teamcenter modules, including:
  • NXManager
  • Structure Manager
  • Configuration Manager
  • Workflow Management
  • Active Workspace
  • BMIDE administration
• Implement and integrate with Teamcenter components and services, including:
  • Teamcenter SOA
  • Product Structure Editor (PSE)
  • Dispatcher
  • 2-Tier / 4-Tier architectures
  • AWC
• Develop and maintain code in:
  • Java, C++, Perl, Shell scripting
  • Use Visual Studio and GitHub
• Operate in Linux and Windows environments and use MS Office for documentation and reporting.
• Provide Teamcenter administration support and support NX development as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering customers to understand business requirements and deliver appropriate PLM solutions.
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive technical issue resolution.
• Propose and implement process improvements to improve system efficiency.
• Provide front-line support for severity issues and manage associated risks.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, testing, and communication skills.

Requirements

• BS degree in a related field.
• Experience developing/customizing with Teamcenter Unified Architecture and ITK.
• Experience with multiple Teamcenter modules listed above.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Teamcenter SOA, PSE, and multi-tier configurations (2-tier/4-tier).
• Experience administering BMIDE and supporting Active Workspace.
