About the role
Role Overview
As a Platform Product Manager, you will own and evolve Cresta’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities. The role starts with a deep focus on permissions, access control, and enterprise administration, improving both the platform and customers’ security posture.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the IAM product area, including:
- user and team management
- permissions and access control models
- enterprise administration and related identity capabilities
- Define and maintain the roadmap and backlogs, balancing near-term customer needs with long-term platform goals.
- Partner with Security and Engineering to plan, prioritize, and deliver improvements focused on reliability and enterprise readiness.
- Work with Solution Architects and implementation teams to ensure features are practical to deploy, operate, and scale in enterprise environments.
- Support and enable integrations with enterprise systems for access control and provisioning (e.g., HRIS, CCaaS, or similar platforms).
- Manage multiple parallel workstreams and make timely product decisions aligned across engineering, security, and customers.
- Ensure capabilities are usable and understood by customer-facing teams, including guidance on configuration and operational considerations.
- Over time, contribute to expansion of shared platform capabilities beyond IAM as platform needs evolve.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product management or a related technical role (engineering, solutions architecture, technical program management).
- Experience driving product decisions and delivery.
- Cross-functional experience with engineering and customer-facing teams on technical products.
- Experience with enterprise administration/access-related systems, such as:
- user management
- permissions and authentication
- provisioning
- HRIS-integrated workflows
- with interest in expanding into adjacent platform areas.
- Strong product judgment and comfort leading technical discussions with engineering and security.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with enterprise security/audit concepts (e.g., access controls and audit logs).
- Exposure to IAM concepts such as OAuth, SAML, SCIM.
