About the role

Role Overview

Platform Engineer supporting Willsfly’s enterprise cloud & platform engineering initiatives. You’ll collaborate across architecture, engineering, delivery, and operational quality to improve platform maturity, deployment consistency, and reliability.

Responsibilities

Support enterprise platform engineering across cloud systems, release pipelines, and reliability foundations
Contribute to deployment consistency and observability readiness
Improve hosting maturity and environment quality in collaboration with engineering teams
Enable scalable platform workflows for enterprise and internal systems
Improve continuity and maintainability of the Willsfly platform layer

Requirements

5+ years experience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud systems, or release environments
Strong understanding of cloud deployment and operational discipline
Experience with pipelines and container systems
Ability to operate in enterprise-grade engineering environments

Nice to Have

Experience with Kubernetes and observability tooling
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and enterprise-scale cloud hosting
Knowledge of release governance and platform reliability
Azure/AWS certification; Kubernetes certification is a plus

Education (Preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Infrastructure, Cloud, or related field

Location / Work Model

United States Remote (Virginia listed; role is remote across the U.S.)

Salary / Benefits

$120K–$150K + bonus + benefits
