About the role
Role Overview
Platform Engineer (Fully Remote)
You will design, implement, and support enterprise platform capabilities spanning Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD, observability, and secure access control.
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and support Kubernetes clusters across AWS and Azure environments
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and Helm charts for infrastructure provisioning
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD
- Manage secrets, identity, and access controls using Vault and AWS Secrets Manager
- Design and support networking components such as Route 53, load balancers, and service mesh configurations
- Monitor Kubernetes workloads and design alerts for cluster health, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal product teams to support platform needs
- Contribute to RBAC, SSO, and Teleport configurations for secure access across environments
Requirements
- Expert-level Terraform experience, including custom module design
- Hands-on Helm chart authoring and templating
- Deep Kubernetes and Docker knowledge (cluster operations, not just deployments)
- Strong AWS experience; Azure familiarity is a plus
- Scripting proficiency in Shell, Go, or Python
- CI/CD experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and/or Argo CD
- Understanding of RBAC, Teleport, and SSO authentication mechanisms
- Experience with secrets management tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)
- Ability to design monitors and alerts for Kubernetes metrics
- Strong communication skills
