About the role

Role overview

Joveo Ai is hiring a Platform Engineer (Remote) to build and run the internal developer platform that enables every engineering team. You’ll design “golden paths” by creating the tools, abstractions, and infrastructure primitives that let product engineers focus on product work instead of operations.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain the internal developer platform, including deployment tooling and service templates
Own Kubernetes cluster management, service mesh configuration, and workload orchestration
Define and enforce platform standards for observability, logging, and tracing
Build self-service infrastructure tooling to reduce cognitive load for product engineers
Manage platform reliability, capacity planning, and performance at scale
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to embed required controls into the platform

Required skills & qualifications

Strong production experience with Kubernetes
Proficiency with platform tooling such as Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane, or Backstage
Experience building internal developer platforms / self-service infrastructure
Familiarity with service mesh technologies: Istio, Linkerd, or Consul
Strong scripting/automation skills in Python or Go
Understanding of cloud-native patterns, GitOps, and platform engineering principles

Nice-to-haves

Strong operational experience across reliability and performance engineering for platform teams
