Platform Engineer | Remote

Role Overview

Platform Engineer (Remote) for hourly, sprint-based contract work. You’ll evaluate and complete complex infrastructure engineering tasks, including reviewing model-generated implementations and improving reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete and evaluate complex infrastructure engineering tasks using coding agents
• Review model-generated implementations involving:
  • Cloud platforms
  • Kubernetes
  • CI/CD
  • Observability
  • Infrastructure automation
• Identify bugs, edge cases, reliability issues, and system failure modes
• Compare outputs from multiple models and assess strengths/weaknesses
• Apply engineering judgment to real-world infrastructure and reliability scenarios

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering
• Strong experience with one or more of:
  • AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Observability tooling
• Strong experience using coding agents and developer productivity tools
• Ability to evaluate model-generated infrastructure and reliability solutions
• Strong experience supporting production-scale systems

Contract Details

• Type: Hourly contract
• Work pattern: Sprint-based project running in 12–24 hour stretches (based on project requirements)
• Compensation: $85/hour (typical accepted tasks pay ~$400 and take 2–3 hours after ramp-up)
