About the role

Role Overview

Join Exiger’s Internal Developer Platform team as an early-career Platform Engineer. This full-remote role focuses on building internal platform tooling, shared cloud services, and automations that improve engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

Contribute to internal platform tooling and shared cloud services used by engineering teams.
Support day-to-day operations of shared infrastructure and services (including KTLO activities and issue follow-up).
Build automations to reduce friction for application developers.
Create and maintain CI/CD workflows.
Develop internal APIs and services.
Participate in a limited on-call rotation.

Requirements

Recent graduate (or current/recent graduate study) with strong software fundamentals.
Proficiency in at least one: Python or Go.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
Experience demonstrating meaningful software/tool/automation building via internships, research, projects, or open-source.
Awareness of security fundamentals with a secure-by-default mindset.
Strong software engineering fundamentals and basic service-development concepts.
Foundational understanding of cloud computing and distributed systems concepts.

Nice-to-haves / Exposure

Master’s degree or current/recent graduate study.
Internship experience in platform engineering, SRE, backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, or developer tools.
Exposure to: AWS, Terraform, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines), and container platforms (Kubernetes, EKS).
