Role Overview
Platform Engineer (Full remote)
Design and operate always-on product environments used for customer demos, internal usage, and stakeholder access. Help build the platform capabilities that enable rapid development feedback loops and reliable integration across multiple systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate always-on product environments for demos, internal use, and stakeholder access.
- Build feature branch / preview environments to support UX iteration and rapid feedback loops.
- Integrate and connect core system components across Fleet Management, Edge Management, OS, and related services.
- Ensure reliable deployment pipelines and platform operations across application and infrastructure boundaries.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, and deployment pipelines.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems.
- Experience integrating distributed systems across multiple services.
- Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and container-based systems.
- Strong platform engineering / DevOps / infrastructure-focused engineering experience.
- Ability to solve problems independently in ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration across engineering, product, and UX.
- Comfort working across system boundaries (application, infrastructure, networking).
- Experience building and operating shared or multi-tenant environments.
- Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).
