About the role
Role Overview
Platform Engineer (Cloud & DevOps) – DevOps Engineer (US) Type: Full-time | Workload: 10–40 hours/week | Location: Remote (United States) You will design, build, and operate resilient and secure cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on production reliability, automation, and DevSecOps.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, high-availability infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Own end-to-end cloud infrastructure and resolve real production issues to ensure uptime
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, plus Infrastructure as Code via Terraform/CDK
- Drive cost optimization and monitor resource utilization across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Apply DevSecOps practices: container security, API protection, and secret management
- Build and maintain observability (logging, metrics, alerting) and enable rapid debugging
Requirements
- Strong experience in DevOps roles with expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Deep DevSecOps/tooling knowledge including Jenkins, Terraform, Git/Version control, and containerization
- Hands-on experience with large-scale, high-availability production environments and real-time incident resolution
- Solid understanding of DevOps automation (Terraform, GitHub Actions) and zero-downtime deployment best practices
- Proficiency in infrastructure security: IAM, secrets management, network security, and API protection
