Platform Engineer, Builder Experience

Role overview

As a Platform Engineer on the Builder Experience team at OnePay, you will build core platform services and developer frameworks that power large-scale, distributed systems and enable the next generation of agent-driven applications.

What you’ll do

• Design and operate platform-oriented core services to support high-scale distributed systems across OnePay’s product ecosystem.
• Build and evolve internal developer tooling and shared infrastructure to improve velocity, reliability, and observability.
• Create frameworks to support the construction and orchestration of agentic applications for intelligent, automated workflows across products.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and developer workflows to increase deployment speed, reliability, and confidence.

What you bring

• 2–9 years of software engineering experience in fintech, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or frameworks that help other engineers move faster.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and high-availability platform services.
• Production experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience designing and building agentic developer tools that enable automation, collaboration, or intelligent workflows.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and driving continuous integration/delivery improvements.
• Proactive, builder mindset.
