About the role

Role Overview

Join OnePay as a Platform Engineer (Builder Experience) on the Builder Experience Team. You’ll design and operate core platform services, build internal developer tooling and frameworks for automated workflows, and improve CI/CD and developer workflows to help teams ship faster with confidence.

Key Missions

Design & operate core platform services that support high-scale distributed systems across the product ecosystem.
Build internal developer tooling and shared infrastructure to improve engineering team velocity, reliability, and observability.
Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation to increase deployment speed, reliability, and confidence across teams.

Requirements

Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or frameworks that help other engineers move faster.
Production experience in AWS and building cloud-native infrastructure.
Deep expertise in distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and high-availability platform services.
Strong ownership mindset: proactive builder/executor.
Proven experience with CI/CD and continuous integration/delivery improvements.
2–9 years of software engineering experience in fintech, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems environments.
Demonstrated experience designing and building agentic developer tools enabling automation, collaboration, or intelligent workflows.
