About the role
Role Overview
Join OnePay as a Platform Engineer (Builder Experience) on the Builder Experience Team. You’ll design and operate core platform services, build internal developer tooling and frameworks for automated workflows, and improve CI/CD and developer workflows to help teams ship faster with confidence.
Key Missions
- Design & operate core platform services that support high-scale distributed systems across the product ecosystem.
- Build internal developer tooling and shared infrastructure to improve engineering team velocity, reliability, and observability.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation to increase deployment speed, reliability, and confidence across teams.
Requirements
- Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or frameworks that help other engineers move faster.
- Production experience in AWS and building cloud-native infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and high-availability platform services.
- Strong ownership mindset: proactive builder/executor.
- Proven experience with CI/CD and continuous integration/delivery improvements.
- 2–9 years of software engineering experience in fintech, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing and building agentic developer tools enabling automation, collaboration, or intelligent workflows.
