Platform Engineer, AI Capability Center Hub

Role Overview

You’ll be a shared engineer for Huron’s AI Capability Center Platform Hub, building and running a reusable platform that every pod can leverage. This includes the common pipelines, CI/CD, testing, deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure building blocks so new pods start further ahead.

Responsibilities

• Build and run platform pipelines with CI/CD and automated testing across pods
• Provision and manage environments where pods build and run
• Deploy and monitor AI models and agents in production
• Define technical and security standards that each pod follows
• Create reusable building blocks to accelerate future pod development

Requirements

• 5–8 years in ML/AI platform work or MLOps, including 1–2 years leading
• Hands-on experience running AI systems in production
• Strong Python
• Experience with AWS and Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building internal developer platforms
• AI testing and monitoring in production
• Healthcare or higher education experience with data-security awareness (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA)
• Familiarity with AWS Machine Learning, Azure AI-102, or Kubernetes (CKA)
