Plant-based Ingredients Sourcer - By-Product hunter

Role overview

Hubcycle is hiring an International Sourcing Manager (Plant-based Ingredients Sourcer / By-Product hunter). You will help increase business velocity by ensuring rapid and stable access to strategic lateral flow repositories through new supply-chain development, improved sourcing procedures, and long-term supplier relationships.

Key missions

• Develop new and optimize existing supply chains for sourcing categories, targeting at least €100,000 in generated revenue per scope.
• Contribute to the sourcing strategy and support its execution in your domain.
• Use and continuously improve the CRM for a digitalized approach to supplier communication and case management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure suppliers for plant-based / vegetal raw materials and related food ingredient categories.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure stable, repeatable sourcing processes and execution.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in sourcing vegetal raw materials.
• Strong knowledge of the food industry and associated industrial processes.
• Experience sourcing food ingredients such as flavors, colors, and extracts.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, including under pressure.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to the team.
• Fluent in French and/or English.
• Technical knowledge is essential.

Contract & working conditions

• Permanent contract (CDI), full-time.
• Preferred location: Avignon (Agroparc).
• Hybrid: work-from-home 2 days/week (per internal rules).
• Salary: €50k–€65k gross/year + bonus.
• Starting: ASAP.
