About the role
Role Overview
As a People Operations Partner at Whatnot, you’ll own and improve end-to-end onboarding operations, coordinate orientation at the company’s hub, and partner cross-functionally to scale People Ops processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including:
- Welcome communications
- I-9 verification
- Swag coordination
- IT setup
- Coordinate in-person orientation and support onboarding at the San Francisco hub (with Talent Programs).
- Lead cross-functional People Ops work and drive operational improvements.
- Maintain data accuracy and support compliance.
- Collaborate on reporting and analytics.
- Improve the helpdesk experience and internal support workflows.
- Build and run scalable People Ops processes.
- Partner with teams including Finance, Total Rewards, IT, Legal, Recruiting, and People Business Partners to plan and execute People Ops initiatives.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in People Ops or HR operations
- Workday power user
- Strong organizational and communication skills
