Role overview
Crown Affair is seeking an organized, proactive HR Generalist to support People & Culture operations. The role partners with employees, managers, Finance, and external providers to keep HR processes clear, consistent, and thoughtfully executed—spanning recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance, and ongoing employee support.
Responsibilities
Recruiting & Hiring Support
- Coordinate recruiting for open roles (interview scheduling, candidate pipelines, candidate experience)
- Partner with hiring managers to keep interviews moving and ensure timely follow-up
- Create job postings, manage candidate communications, prepare interview materials, and help with offer preparation
- Maintain recruiting trackers, interview notes, and hiring documentation
- Improve recruiting workflows for consistency and efficiency
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate onboarding from offer acceptance through the first weeks (documentation, scheduling, equipment, internal comms)
- Ensure a welcoming and organized onboarding experience
- Partner with managers on onboarding plans and confirm employees have tools/information/support
- Coordinate offboarding (documentation, access removal, exit processes, stakeholder communication)
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure onboarding/offboarding requirements are completed on time
Benefits & Employee Support
- Support benefits administration and serve as a first point of contact for employee questions
- Partner with Justworks and other providers to resolve benefits/leave/account questions
- Support employees through life events and leave processes with care and clear communication
- Communicate benefits info, enrollment deadlines, and policy updates
- Escalate complex questions appropriately and ensure timely follow-up
People Operations
- Support day-to-day People operations (employee documentation, employment changes, letters, record maintenance)
- Maintain organized and up-to-date HR documentation
- Help administer company policies/programs and People processes
- Provide consistent, discreet, good-judgment responses to employee/manager questions
- Partner with Finance and external providers to ensure employee changes are processed accurately
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and internal HR processes
Performance & Employee Experience
- Coordinate performance review cycles (timelines, forms, communications, completion tracking)
- Help managers and employees navigate review processes and ensure materials are shared on time
- Support employee engagement initiatives (surveys, team programming, company-wide People communications)
- Assist with manager resources and documentation related to performance conversations
- Help maintain a consistent, thoughtful employee experience across the organization
Requirements
- Strong organization, thoughtfulness, and proactivity in managing day-to-day HR operations
- Ability to work across recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance, and employee support
- Comfortable partnering with employees and managers, and coordinating with Finance and external providers
Preferred / Eligibility
- Work authorization: USA required
Salary
- $78k–$85k (annual)
