People Operations Analyst/Manager

Role Overview

Join Flock Safety as a People Operations Analyst/Manager. You will design and document the end-to-end employee lifecycle, improve people processes for efficiency, and own the HRIS system while ensuring compliance and operational rigor.

Key Missions

• Architect and document the employee lifecycle end to end, ensuring each process has an owner, a documented workflow, and a feedback loop.
• Own the HRIS (Rippling) as the primary system administrator: configure, integrate, and automate to eliminate manual transactional work.
• Run a real change process for people systems and processes to ensure changes are not ad hoc, and are tested and deployed effectively.
• Ensure compliance and act as an escalation point for complex employee situations.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve people operations in a scalable way.

Profile / Requirements

• 4–8 years in People Operations or HR Operations (or an operationally focused generalist role), ideally in high-growth tech/SaaS.
• Excellent written communication skills; ability to write process documentation others can follow.
• Working knowledge of multi-state US employment compliance.
• Strong process design capability: map workflows, identify bottlenecks, and rebuild for efficiency.
• Automation and tooling mindset: energized by removing manual work and building solutions from first principles.
• Data fluency: use operational metrics to act without needing a data team.
• Operational rigor: detail-oriented, deadline-driven, knows when to follow process and when to escalate.
• Preference for shipping a v1 and iterating.

Nice-to-Haves

• Rippling experience (or comparable HRIS such as Workday, BambooHR, or Personio).
• HRIS implementation/full-cycle deployment experience.
• PHR / SPHR / SHRM-CP certification.
• Experience enabling HRBPs in a partner model.
• Multi-state or multi-entity operations experience.
