About the role
Role Overview
The People & Culture (HR) Manager will support multiple areas by owning key HR processes across the employee lifecycle while partnering with business leaders and aligning work to EllisDon values and Employee Experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment services for multiple areas (needs analysis, job postings, sourcing, interviews, and offers)
- Act as a business partner to client groups across the employee lifecycle
- Support and manage P&C programs and annual processes, including:
- Performance Management
- Compensation Reviews
- Training & Development and Organizational Development
- Onboarding and Employee Orientations
- Succession Planning
- Resolve complex employee relations issues in compliance with applicable employment legislation
- Compile, analyze, and report HR metrics to identify trends and support business needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including hands-on recruitment
- Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate certificate in HR Management or a related field
- Clear understanding of the HR environment in Texas
Preferred / Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in the construction industry
- Thrives in a startup environment within a larger company
- Strong passion for Employee Experience and alignment with EllisDon values
- Proficient in Spanish (asset)
